Multiply and PR's for One Love Skate

This week, we're reading pages 65-76 in Multiply.

Sam P will be leading the discussion at 4:20 this coming Tuesday under the vert for #SeekTheMostHigh.

The next big One Love Skate event with a skateboard giveaway will be June 11 at Keo at about 3:30p.m.

Then, June 14, we'll be at Vertical from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Hope Chapel.

After that, we will be continuing #SeekTheMostHigh Tuesdays at Keo, but we will also be doing One Love events on the mainland in Oregon, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.

We're also working on starting Multiply studies at all the skateparks on Maui by Valentine's Day of next year. If you're interested in being a leader, let me know!

5.21.13 Skating & Multiply Study

Skating was solid again today.

I love skateboarding.

Today, some people from One Love Skate brought gatorades and fruit roll-ups to give away, and it was a cool way to apply the last chapter of Multiply. "Look for ways to love and opportunities to give..." (Francis Chan, Multiply, 43). It's fun to see God working.

This morning's skate event thanks to county of Maui kihei, hi tech, aloha skateboards, one eighty, 808 all-day, and one love skate. Good turn out of 30+ kids and parents. Gave away 3 complete skate boards, 4 penny boards, hats, t shirt from one eighty, tons of stickers, and new skate videos!!! Such a blast.

We talked through questions from "What Is A Disciple?" (pgs. 15-25). 

This week, everyone is reading "The Command To Make Disciples" (pgs. 27-38), and we'll discuss those 8 questions next week at 4:20p.m. 

Because Jesus, loves us, we want to live out that love at the skatepark (1 John 4:9).
